Objectives

1. Develop a VR escape room environment with at least three distinct rooms, each containing unique puzzles and challenges. 2. Integrate educational elements into the escape room experience, such as historical or scientific concepts, to enhance player learning and engagement 3. To create a game with at least 1 hour of gameplay, varied mechanics, and challenging puzzles. 4. To provide Escape room experience within the comfort of your home.

Methodologies

1. Modular Design: Each level and puzzle was developed as a separate module for easier testing and integration. 2. Blueprint Scripting in Unreal Engine: Employed visual scripting for gameplay logic and interaction mechanics. 3. User-Centered Design: Environments and interactions designed with focus on immersion, usability, and intuitive gameplay. 4. Playtesting & Feedback: Conducted small-scale user testing to evaluate level design, comfort, and interaction quality.

Outcome

1. Developed a VR escape room using Unreal Engine for PCVR. 2. Designed immersive environments and interactive gameplay. 3. Implemented spatial audio for a realistic user experience. 4. Created a working main menu and multiple themed levels. 5. Demonstrated knowledge of VR development, game design, and user experience. 6. Gained experience in level design and blueprint scripting.
