Objectives
The main goal of this project is to create a smart delivery system that helps people send and receive parcels by connecting them with nearby couriers, making the process faster, easier, and more secure through a user-friendly mobile and web app.
Socio-Economic Benefit
The project supports local employment through a courier membership system that builds trust and reduces the risk of theft. It also helps small businesses and individuals by offering a reliable, affordable, and secure delivery solution, improving overall logistics efficiency in the community.
Methodologies
We followed a modular development approach, starting with requirement analysis, then designing the database and system architecture. The frontend was built using Flutter, while the backend used NestJS with MySQL. APIs were documented with Swagger, and testing was done throughout the process to ensure reliability and usability across mobile and web platforms.
Outcome
The project successfully delivered a working mobile and web-based smart delivery system. Users can register, send parcels, and connect with verified couriers, while couriers can manage orders securely. Admins can monitor activities through a dashboard. The system improves delivery efficiency, reduces risks through a membership model, and provides a smooth user experience across all platforms.
